Besides traditional one-on-one sessions with their therapists, Discovery Ranch students spend their days in a variety of experiential activities that include:
- Equine Assisted Therapy
- Raising bottle-fed calves
- On-site ropes course
- On and off-campus Experiential Group Therapy
- Music and Technology Program,
including Guitar and or Bass lessons - Residential life
Our brand of emotionally rich experiential therapy is effective because it lowers students’ defenses and creates a safe environment for change. It doesn’t look or feel like traditional therapy. Our experiential program is more than just a filling time. It’s a mindset. Students progress faster because they have more opportunities to practice what they are learning.
Therapeutically intense and carefully supervised, students learn who they really are as they work side by side with therapists and staff who model, motivate, and mentor.
